Concert for journalist Austin Tice to mark 12 years of detention in Syria, Aug. 14
The National Press Club will mark the 12th year of Austin Tice's detention in Syria with a concert and program on August 14.
Black River Entertainment recording artist Scotty Hasting will headline the event. An Army veteran, Scotty served in Afghanistan and recently played at the Grand Ole Opry.
Between Scotty's sets, the Club will have a program of speakers who will talk about Austin's case and the progress that was made this year and challenges that remain to bring him home.
