Club's Communicators Team presents Candid Conversation on how news deserts threaten national security, Feb. 13

The National Press Club's Communicators Team invites members of the Club to a Candid Conversation exploring the impact of news deserts on national security.

This hybrid event is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 13, at 6 p.m. in the Reliable Source's Cosgrove Lounge, and on Zoom for remote participants. This event is open to Club Members only and tickets are free. Register Here.

The fourth in a series of Club events exploring various aspects and consequences of news deserts, this panel expects to explore how news deserts are enabling our adversaries to spread disinformation in the United States.

Moderated by NPC Communicator Member Karen Naumann, panel members bring perspectives from the Department of Defense, the National Security Agency, and the private sector. Panelists include:
