Club sets election schedule; nominations open Sept. 29

The nomination period for National Press Club Board of Governors members and officers will open on Sept.  29.

The full election schedule is outlined below, and the rules are posted on the Club website.

2025 Election Schedule

• August 18 – Board approved election schedule and Election Board Chair Jen Judson
• September 15 – Board approves eligible voter list
• September 29 – Nominations open
• October 24 – Nominations close
• Oct. 27 – Nov. 7 – Candidate review period
• November 10 – Candidate bios and headshots due
• November 17 – Online voting opens
• December 5 – Election Day. Online voting ends at 12 p.m. (noon). In-person voting will be available in the General Office, 2-5 p.m.
