Club offers 3-month free membership for laid off journalists

The National Press Club is offering a complimentary three-month guest membership to Washington, D.C.–area journalists who have been laid off in 2026 — a way to stay connected to community, resources, and professional support during a time of transition.

“Our Club has always stood with journalists — especially during moments of change and uncertainty,” said National Press Club President Mark Schoeff Jr. “We hope this initiative provides a welcoming space where displaced journalists can access resources, build connections, and find strength in a community that understands the value of their work.”
