Club members invited to June 5 NATO Youth Summit

National Press Club member Kay Floyd invites fellow members to attend the 2023 NATO Youth Summit on Monday, June 5. The NATO Youth Summit is co-hosted by NATO and William & Mary, with the Press Club serving on the planning committee. The full-day summit takes place in the Club's Ballroom beginning at 9 a.m. The summit will provide young participants with the opportunity to engage, build links, enhance understanding, exchange views and explore how NATO addresses challenges that the young generation sees as critical to its security. The issues covered will range from disinformation to the latest technologies, and from climate change to national defense. Questions from participants will be welcomed. Admission is free and lunch is included. The event ends at 5:30 p.m., followed by a reception, Participants are requested, however, to stay for the full day. More information is available online.
