Club member Donald Frederick dies
Club member Donald J. Frederick died at aqe 81 on Nov. 18 of complications from pneumonia, the Washington Post reported. He was a retired science writer for the National Geographic Society's news service.
He joined the news service in 1965 and retired in 1995, writing about subjects from the naked mole rat to subatomic neutrinos, the Post said.
