Club member Bob Weiner receives civil leadership award

Club member Robert Weiner has been announced as the 2026 recipient of the PuLSE Institute Conscience of Democracy Award. He will receive the honor at the organization's 2026 Civil Rights Leadership Dinner in Detroit, July 29.

The PuLSE Institute bills itself as "America's Anti-Poverty Think Tank." The award going to Weiner "recognizes individuals whose work transcends professional achievement and speaks to a larger moral purpose and that is the defense of democratic institutions, the expansion of opportunity, and the enduring belief that government and public life must remain accountable to the people they serve."
