Club election season is underway with online voting now open, culminates Dec. 1

Friday, Dec. 1, is Election Day at the National Press Club. In-person voting available that day only in the Club elections will culminate during Taco Night, when the election results will be announced and the next Club president traditionally gives a sneak peak of his or her goals for the coming Club year to those gathered in the Reliable Source.

Online voting began Monday, Nov. 13. Online voting will end at noon on Dec. 1.

Members should have received a ballot in their email inboxes and instructions for casting it. You must have a ballot sent to you in order to do the voting online.

For those who want to vote in person, marking of a paper ballot at the Club will be available Friday, Dec. 1, 2 to 5:30 p.m. only. Be sure to plan ahead when considering your balloting options, in case you might not be able to make it to the Club by the time polling closes.

Taco Night on Dec. 1 starts at 5:30 p.m.

The next President's Installation Dinner is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 9, 2024, for the incoming 117th NPC president. Stay tuned for more details on that, too. It will be held in the NPC Ballroom.

Also, reserve now to attend the Club's Family Holiday Celebration on Wednesday, Dec. 20, starting at 5 p.m. Fun, food, drink and festivities will mark the final general membership event for 2023 before the end-of-year and New Year's holidays.
