Club cancels picnic

The Fall 2011 National Press Club Picnic has been cancelled. Thanks to the few members who responded with offers to volunteer. Unfortunately, the response was not great enough to move forward with planning for the picnic.

The Events Committee will discuss at its next regularly-scheduled meeting the potential of organizing an alternate family-friendly event, either at the Club or at an alternate location. If you have specific suggestions or ideas, please share them with Anthony Shop ([email protected]) by 5 p.m. Sept. 14.
