A Chaplain for Virginia's Death Row Recounts Some of What He Saw

Rev. Russ Ford witnessed 28 executions during his time as chaplain for Virginia's death row. The experience challenged his own faith--but also demonstrated the potential for spiritual growth among the most hardened criminals. Ford's new book, "Crossing The River Styx: The Memoir of a Death Row Chaplain," is a moving work of reportage.
