Books & Brunch to discuss Liz Cheney's 'Oath and Honor' at March 16 virtual meeting

The National Press Club's Books & Brunch group will meet via Zoom at noon Saturday, March 16, to discuss Liz Cheney's best-selling "Oath and Honor, A Memoir and A Warning."

Cheney gives a first-hand account of the Jan. 6, 2021, insurrection from inside the halls of Congress. Cheney, a fierce critic of then-President Donald Trump, became one of two Republicans to serve on the Congressional Select Committee investigation into how it happened. Time magazine said "Oath and Honor" provides a "rare and damning look inside the Republican Party in the days before and after Jan. 6."

To RSVP and receive a Zoom link, please email Fay Iudicello at [email protected] by Thursday, March 14. Those who RSVP should expect to receive the invitation at 9 a.m. on March 16.

Want to get a head start on the April book? Books & Brunch will discuss "The Heaven & Earth Grocery Store" by National Book Award-winning author James McBride on Saturday, April 20.
