Book Fair & Authors' Night, in partnership with Politics & Prose, opens author applications

The Capitol region’s premiere holiday book event, the National Press Club Book Fair & Author Night, is back for the 38th year and now accepting applications from authors. The deadline to apply is close of business Sept. 25. Applicants will be notified via email by Oct. 9.

This year's Book Fair will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 17 at Club. Authors are expected to be available for the whole event, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. All literary genres are considered; however, self-published books and books only available in e-format will not be accepted. The application fee of $75 for Club members and $150 for non-members is due and payable upon acceptance to the Book Fair. For answers to more Frequently Asked Questions, go here.
