Author Alex Kershaw to address Jan. 10 American Legion Post meeting
The National Press Club American Legion Post 20 will meet at noon Wednesday, Jan. 10, in the McClendon Room to hear from author Alex Kershaw. He will discuss his book, "The Liberator," about Felix Sparks, a Texas-born officer who fought in World War II from the beaches of Sicily to the gates of Dachau. "The Liberator" also became a Netflix series.
This will be a hybrid meeting, with a Zoom option for those who live outside the Washington area or who cannot get to the Club.

All Club members are invited to this luncheon meeting. The Club asks that attendees who get lunch pay in one bill, so attendees are asked to bring cash to cover the cost (including tax and gratuity).
