Asian American Journalists Honor NPC Member

NPC member Albert W. Young has been inducted into the Asian American Pioneer Journalists Honor Roll.

Young, a Club member since 1995, is a copy editor for the Boston Globe. He was the first Asian-American sports writer a major metropolitan daily when he began his career at the Bridgeport Post-Telegram in Connecticut in 1970.

When he lived in Washington, Young was an editor/writer for the sports department at USA Today.

Others inducted into the honor roll include Connie Chung, Ben Fong Torres and the late Ken Kashiwahara.
