Applications open for Columbia Energy Journalism Fellows program

The Energy Journalism Fellows program at Columbia University’s Center on Global Energy Policy is accepting applications for its 2026 seminar on June 9-12 in New York City. The deadline for applications is March 2.

CEGP invites applications from journalists covering energy and climate issues in the U.S. and abroad. Each year the center accepts 20 journalists for a four-day, in-person seminar featuring expert-led presentations on policy, financial, market, technological, and geopolitical dimensions of energy. Travel and hotel expenses are covered. 

Since 2017, 180 journalists have participated in the program, gaining deeper context and sharper insight for their reporting as well as sharing insights with colleagues from around the world.
