Freelancers Becoming A Larger Share Of The American Workforce

There are currently an estimated 53-million freelance workers in the United States, making up about one-third of the total workforce. By 2020 freelancers are expected to account for about half of the U.S. workforce. Why the surge in freelance workers? And what are some recommendations for full-time workers who want to become freelancers?
