NAACP in a Changing World
Reverend Chavis spoke to a luncheon audience on the role of the NAACP in responding to contemporary issues involving race and civil rights. He commented on current affairs involving racial issues, including the recent refusal of service to black people at a Denny's Restaurant in Virginia and the nomination of law professor Lani Guinier to Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights.
