Mr. Rossotti spoke about Internal Revenue Service accountability. He focused on how the IRS could be more helpful both to individual taxpayers thorough customer service and to taxpayers as a group through fairness. He outlined some of the changes which he has instituted and commented on some remaining challenges. After his remarks, he took questions from the audience.
