On Saturday evening January 18, 2020, one of the great traditions in Press Club culture will take place as hundreds from the journalism and educational communities join to celebrate the Inauguration of the 113th President of the National Press Club, Michael Freedman. Mike is Executive Producer of the multi-awarding winning Kalb Report public broadcasting series, Journalist-in-Residence at University of Maryland Global Campus, and the former General Manager of CBS Radio Network.
“Intimate, relaxed, and cocktail-chic,” this charming small band showcases Eric Felten's talents as a singer of "hip and clubby, Tony Bennett-style standards" [Washington Flyer].
Music of Cole Porter, George Gershwin, Johnny Mercer, Irving Berlin and other masters of American popular song.
