Women's Salon Night

Historically, in many cultures, women have hosted Salon Nights to talk about the bigger questions of the day. These philosophical and intellectual conversations have fostered communities, ideas, epiphanies, partnerships, and so much more. At this Salon, we will discuss topics ranging from art and creativity to community building and the future of journalism and communications.

Men, we appreciate you, but this meetup is just for those who identify as women.

Debra Silimeo, president of The Silimeo Group and member of the National Press Club Board of Governors, will lead the conversation at this Salon. We will focus on strategies for building and sustaining a supportive professional network: what has worked in your own career, how to access support when you need it, and how to ensure your network remains mutually beneficial.

The registration cost is $15 for National Press Club members and $25 for guests. The registration cost includes a specialty cocktail or mocktail and light bites.
