WGES Global™ 2026 Press Launch Briefing

WGES Global™, Inc., a U.S.-based, non-political international NGO founded in 2009, will host a Press Launch Briefing at the National Press Club to formally announce the WGES Global™ 2026 Symposium, to be held in Athens, Greece.
The briefing will outline the vision, scope, and international relevance of WGES Global™ 2026, which convenes leaders from government, academia, industry, and civil society across sustainability, climate resilience strategies, blue economy, public health, AI, urban systems, the circular economy, and next-generation technologies.
The briefing will be convened by Daisy Gallagher - Washington DC, National Press Club member and Organizing Executive Team Lead for the United States and Greece.
Overview remarks include Dr. Sabine O’Hara, Founding Dean of UDC CAUSES (College of Agriculture, Urban Sustainability, and Environmental Sciences). Dr. O’Hara is a distinguished professor, author, and internationally recognized expert in urban sustainability and the circular economy. A longtime partner of WGES Global™, she has hosted multiple WGES forums at UDC and will serve as a keynote speaker at the 2026 Athens symposium.
Also providing perspective is Stephen Ambrose, leading expert in climate intelligence and operational artificial intelligence, with professional experience spanning NASA, NOAA, SAIC, and Earth Intelligence.
Additional expert contributors affiliated with WGES Global™ include Kevin Kampschroer, leading sustainable healthy buildings expert spanning Chief Sustainability Officer of GSA (ret.), Dr. Joshi, Dean and Distinguished Professor of the University of Memphis School of Public Health, nationally recognized authority on public health informatics and AI. Dr. Joshi is a contributor speaker for the 2026 Athens symposium and has been invited to attend the Press Launch Briefing.
