Join the Communicators Team for a “Lunch and Learn” session on Tuesday, June 10 at 12 p.m. with mind-body science pioneer, physician, and Psychology Today blogger Dr. Esther Sternberg, to learn how to manage your stress response and make it work for you.
Stress isn’t something to eliminate—it’s a powerful biological response that, when managed well, can fuel focus, energy, and productivity. Dr. Sternberg will share science-based strategies to help you shift from overwhelm to optimal performance using practical tools such as micro-meditations, breathing exercises, and other mind-body techniques.
A leader in the field of stress and wellbeing, Dr. Sternberg is the author of the award-winning book Well at Work: Creating Wellbeing in Any Workspace (Little, Brown Spark, 2023), named a Publishers Weekly Top Ten Lifestyle Book. In-person registrants will receive a complimentary copy of the book.
This session will explore the 7 domains of integrative health, with guidance on how to create calm and community in your workday and move your stress response from overdrive to balance—so you can rest, refocus, and take action with renewed purpose.
In-person participants will enjoy a self-funded lunch from the Reliable Source at 12 p.m., with the program for in-person and virtual attendees beginning at 12:30 p.m.
