The Eastern Europe Security Institute invites to a round table on “Risks and Opportunities for the United States in the Global Titanium Market Amid the Russia-Ukraine War.”
During the round table, experts from the Eastern Europe Security Institute and the Foundation Defense of Democracies will present the new report on how U.S.-Ukrainian cooperation in the titanium industry can benefit both countries. The discussion will examine the strategic threat posed by artificially priced Russian and Chinese supplies and how the Russia-Ukraine war has affected the global titanium market. It will then consider ways in which U.S.-Ukrainian cooperation can bolster America’s economic and national security by diversifying its supply of titanium, which Washington deems a “strategic vulnerability.”
Representatives of state institutions, leading experts, sector specialists, analysts and representatives of mass media are invited to participate.
Speakers:
- Anatolii Pinchuk, head of the Board of the Eastern Europe Security Institute
- John Hardie, Deputy Director of the Russia Program at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies
- Moderator: Mykola Hryckowian, Director of the Washington, DC Office of the Center for U.S.-Ukrainian Relations
