NPC President and Bloomberg reporter Alan Bjerga will address students, interns and others involved with the Washington Programs Consortium, a voluntary group representing colleges and universities with special academic programs in the nation's capital.
Bjerga's speech will focus on "Power and Press: Washington Reporting in the Obama Era." The event is free and open to the public, but reservations are requested. To RSVP, please contact NPC Professional Development Committee member Wes Pippert at [email protected].
The committee is part of the Eric Friedheim National Journalism Library, the non-profit arm of the National Press Club that trains journalists and provides scholarships.
