Brian T. Moynihan, chief executive officer and president of Bank of America, will address a National Press Club luncheon on Friday, October 8, 2010. Moynihan will deliver a speech entitled “Observations on U.S. and Global Financial Markets and Economic Growth,” discussing the recent U.S. and international regulatory reforms and the role of financial services companies in the economic recovery.

Moynihan joined FleetBoston Financial in 1993, rising to lead its global wealth and investment management operations. He served in a number of senior leadership positions at Bank of America after it merged with FleetBoston Financial in 2004. Moynihan took office as CEO and president of Bank of America on December 31, 2009.

The National Press Club luncheon will begin promptly at 12:30 p.m. Moynihan's remarks will begin just after 1:00 p.m., followed by a question-and-answer session.
