The National Press Club Communicators’ Team will host a virtual “Critical Conversation” on the topic of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) to explore what organizations are doing to promote and implement DE&I efforts among their employees, and how they are communicating about their efforts both internally and externally.
DE&I has been a major effort for many organizations for some time, and many have reinvigorated their efforts in the aftermath of last summer’s focus on race. This discussion will help both communicators and journalists, as well as the public, learn what some organizations are doing so that they can implement or enhance DE&I in their own workplaces.
Our Panelists:
- Brandon Bell, Diversity & Inclusion Lead, North America, Syngenta
- Blair Hayes, Chief Diversity Officer, University of Maryland Global Campus
- Rhonda Mower, Senior Vice President of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Volunteers of America
- Andale Gross, Race & Ethnicity News Editor, The Associated Press

- Moderator: Paul Minehart, Head of Communications, North America, Syngenta
