Americans turn to news organizations to learn the latest information about issues that affect their wallet, whether it is advancing their careers, running their households, or planning investments for their retirement.
On Wednesday, Nov. 17, from noon to 1 p.m., the National Press Club’s Communicators Team will host a Lunch & Learn program featuring three business reporters and editors for a conversation about the issues and topics that drive their daily coverage of the companies, people and policy that shape the world’s economy. They will also discuss how professional communicators can serve as critical sources for the media about the businesses and organizations they represent.
The event will be moderated by NPC Board of Governors member Debra Silimeo, who is the president of The Silimeo Group and has worked closely with business reporters as a professional communicator at public relations firms and the U.S. government. She was formerly a broadcast journalist.
Registration
