CANCELLED - NPC Communicators Legends Dinner with Maria Cardona

Maria Cardona, a public policy advocate, democratic strategist and seasoned communications practitioner, will be the featured guest for a National Press Club Communicators Legends Dinner on Thursday, October 26.

Recognized as among the most influential Latinos in the country, Cardona is a Principal at the Dewey Square Group (DSG) and founder of Latinovations, the Latino strategies practice of DSG. Cardona serves as a CNN and CNN en Español political commentator, as well as the host of the MARIA! Show on El Rey Network. Prior to signing on exclusively with CNN, she was a frequent commentator on MSNBC, Fox, Univision and Telemundo, sharing her public policy expertise and providing political analysis on national issues.

Throughout her more than two-decade career, Cardona has been an advocate for some of the biggest issues affecting the Latino community, including comprehensive immigration reform, voting rights protection, access to affordable healthcare, environmental protection, closing the digital divide, equal pay for equal work, and closing the wage gap. 

At the dinner, Cardona will share her career journey and discuss some of the challenges she’s faced along the way.

A three-course dinner with wine will be served for $62 per person. The cash bar networking reception begins at 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m. Business attire.
