The Foundation for Opioid Response Efforts (FORE), a national, grant-making foundation focused on finding and fostering innovative solutions to end the nation’s opioid and drug overdose crisis, is hosting a press conference announcing new initiatives to fight the opioid and overdose crisis facing America's youth.
As fentanyl, xylazine and other forms of substance use continue to devastate our youth, FORE is expanding its work with children, youth, and families with a focus on prevention. The discussion will center on innovative solutions and how policy makers, health care providers, parents, caregivers, educators, the court system, and all involved in the future of our children can work together to improve adult-child relationships and family resilience.
The conference, “New Initiatives to Fight the Opioid and Overdose Crisis Facing America’s Youth,” will be held on Wednesday, September 27, at the National Press Club from 9 am – 10am ET.
To attend in person, RSVP to Myrna Manners, [email protected], Phone/Text: 718-986-7255.
