Join us at the National Press Club for a critical and timely health and safety event about drowsy driving. During Drowsy Driving Prevention Week® (November 2-8, 2025), National Sleep Foundation (NSF) will hold a one-hour panel in Washington, DC moderated by Mark Rosekind, PhD, a member of NSF’s board of directors and former Administrator of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Dr. Rosekind is also a prior Member of the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB).

Panelists will include Jennifer Morrison, Director, Vehicle Safety Strategy, Mazda; Jennifer Pearce, a Drowsy Driving Prevention Advocate; Joseph Dzierzewski, PhD, SVP Research & Scientific Affairs, NSF; and John Lopos, CEO, NSF. As an exclusive, NSF will release 1) the most recent data and insights from its 2025 Drowsy Driving Report, 2) its Drowsy Driving Position Statement, and 3) other key population-level data from the American public about drowsy driving, family sleep health and safety.

Drowsy driving is impaired driving and is responsible for more than one in every five crash-related fatalities.
