The National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners and the National Association of State Energy Officials have partnered on a task force to provide a forum to develop state-led pathways toward a more resilient, efficient and affordable grid. This initiative is supported by the U.S. Dept. of Energy. The NARUC-NASEO Task Force will host a press conference highlighting a suite of resources that have been developed over the past two years, including: (1) five example approaches (the Roadmap) that describe how aligned planning could work from state perspective across different regulatory and market structures, (2) a State Blueprint for Action that offers guidance on steps a state could take toward planning alignment and (3) actions that 12 Task Force states have taken or are taking to advance aligned planning.
