Meeting

Adam M. Silvia, Curator of Photography in the Library of Congress Prints & Photographs Division, is the featured guest at National Press Club's Photography Team meeting on Wednesday, March 18 at 12:00 noon in the Cosgrove Lounge.

Silvia will discuss the important role of libraries, archives, and museums in preserving the history of photojournalism. Silvia, who joined the Library of Congress in 2016, has authored a guide to photojournalism research and acquired the work of over 70 photojournalists for the Library that now houses more than 10 million photojournalism images.

The meeting on Mar. 18 is in the Cosgrove Lounge on the 14th floor. We will begin with a self-funded lunch at 12 noon, and start the program for both in-person and remote participants at 12:45 pm. Registration is free and open to all NPC members, but reservations are required.

Please submit your reservation for this social to the Reliable Source by emailing [email protected], submitting a reservation via our online "Book a Reservation" form (please notate "attending Photography Team Meeting" in the Special Requests/Notes field), or by calling (202) 662-7443.
