We are excited to host the ‘Make Blue the New Pink’ Gala on November 11th, 2022 at the National Press Club in Washington DC. This year’s theme, “Make Blue the New Pink” was designed to bring attention to the reality that prostate cancer diagnoses are increasing and surpassing the number of breast cancer diagnoses. Just as pink ribbon awareness is synonymous with breast cancer, we hope to increase the recognition of blue-ribbon awareness for prostate cancer as a similar symbol. United in the journey to impact Veterans’ lives through knowledge and awareness surrounding prostate cancer screening, treatments, and clinical trials. Funds generated at the Gala Event will directly support the development of educational materials, awareness events, and research opportunities to bring about greater knowledge of prostate cancer in the Veteran population. Our goal is to educate all 19 million Veterans. We are urgently supporting the 9 million Veterans who currently receive healthcare at the Veterans Healthcare Administration. In addition, we raise awareness and provide educational resources to the remaining 10 million Veterans in our communities.
