NM Climate Expert to Detail New Study on Integrating Energy Policy, will Highlight New Congressional Challenges, Opportunities

Jim Conca, author of a new federal study aimed at integrating all energy sources into a rational global energy strategy, will speak at a National Press Club Newsmaker press conference at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 3rd, in the West Room (13th Floor) in the National Press Building, 529 14th St., N.W., Washington, DC.

Conca, the Senior Scientist for the Institute for Energy and the Environment at New Mexico State University, will focus on the cost of achieving a sustainable energy future, based on his recent study with co-author Dr. Judith Wright, titled The GeoPolitics of Energy: Achieving a Just and Sustainable Energy Distribution by 2040, written in part to integrate all energy sources into a rational global energy strategy.
