NPC Virtual Newsmaker: Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL)

Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) will address the future of the Republican Party and other issues facing the nation at a virtual National Press Club Headliners event on on Monday, May 10 at 11 a.m.

The 45-minute-long program will stream live on the Club’s website and YouTube Channel, and is accessible to both the media and members of the general public free-of-charge. Viewers are invited to submit their questions for Kinzinger in advance or during the live program via email to [email protected]. Please put Kinzinger in the subject line. 

Kinzinger, 43, made headlines for his criticism of former President Trump and his decision to vote in favor of Trump’s second impeachment. He also urged Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) to resign amid a federal probe into allegations of  sex trafficking. Gaetz has denied wrongdoing. Kinzinger has called for remaking the Republican Party with a bigger focus on defense and social issues.
