Exclusive DC Premiere of DANGER CLOSE Screening and Q&A With War Reporter Alex Quade

When: Tuesday, April 18th at 6.30pm

DC premiere screening at the National Press Club of Danger Close followed by question and answer session with war reporter Alex Quade.

The movie hits theaters on April 28; see the film before everyone else. Danger Close is the third installation of the Heroes of Valor Collection along with The Hornet's Nest and Citizen Soldier.

About the film: DANGER CLOSE is a documentary that follows Edward R. Murrow Award-winning female war reporter Alex Quade and her mission to tell “soldiers' stories” during a series of unprecedented embeds with U.S. Special Operations Forces (SOF) at the height of the Wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. During one highly classified combat mission in Iraq, she would re-embed with a Green Beret A-Team that had just lost their Combat Engineer, Special Forces Staff Sgt. Rob Pirelli, whom she knew from previous operations. When an injured Alex ends up back in the States to rehab and prepare to redeploy she quickly realizes just how pivotal her redeployment will become. Through a series of compelling events and a fated meeting with Rob Pirelli's family, her return to Iraq turns into the mission of a lifetime.

Following the film Defense News’ land warfare reporter and National Press Club secretary Jen Judson will host an on-the-record question and answer session with Quade addressing a wide variety of relevant topics from embedding with the secretive Special Operations forces to journalistic ethical dilemmas and the continuing rise of U.S. Special Operations missions.
