Eleanor Herman "Legacy of Kings: Blood of Gods and Royals"

Eleanor Herman will discuss her new book "Legacy of Kings: Blood of Gods and Royals" on August 26 at 6:30 p.m. in the Ballroom.

“Legacy of Kings: Blood of Gods and Royals” tells the story of a time when the gods turn a blind eye to the agony of men, when the last of the hellions roam the plains, and evil stirs beyond the edges of the map. A time when cities burn and in their ashes, empires rise.

Eleanor Herman is the New York Times Bestselling author of Sex with Kings, as well as three other works of nonfiction: Sex with the Queen, Mistress of the Vatican, and King Peggy. Eleanor is a frequent commentator in the media about royal scandals, and has hosted episodes for the History Channel's show, Lost Worlds.

The event includes an author discussion, Q&A from the audience, and book signing. Tickets are $5 for NPC members; $10 public. This event is a fundraiser for the nonprofit NPC Journalism Institute.

No outside books or memorabilia permitted. Books must be purchased through the National Press Club. All sales are final; no refunds will be issued.
