Join the NPC Events Team on Monday, May 1 at 6 p.m. in the Fourth Estate for a screening of "Etilaat Roz."
This documentary narrates the fall of Afghanistan and the Taliban takeover from inside the office of the Etilaatroz newspaper. It tells the story of the newspaper and its journalists after the fall of Kabul.
"On August 15, 2021, Kabul is captured by the Taliban, and journalists of Etilaat Roz, a daily newspaper of Afghanistan are faced with choices. Should they escape, or should they accuse the Taliban of its atrocities?"
This film was directed by Abbas Rezaei and produced by Zaki Daryabi and Abbas Rezaei.
