Dinner with Margery Kraus, CEO APCO Worldwide

In 1984, Margery Kraus started from a small office in Washington and grew APCO Worldwide into a global consulting firm with offices in major cities around the world. Today she is CEO of the firm, which specializes in public affairs, communication and business consulting for multinational companies.

During the dinner, Ms. Kraus will share her views on the evolution of the public relations industry and the challenges and opportunities brought on by new technologies, including social media.

Ms. Kraus has received many prestigious awards for her business accomplishments and commitment to good public relations, including the PR Power List, Top Women Business Builders, Most Powerful Women in PR and Women Who Mean Business. She also established one of the industry’s earliest corporate responsibility practices and was a pioneer in the development of public-private partnerships.

The NPC Communicators Dinner starts at 6:30 p.m. with networking and cocktails, followed by dinner at 7 p.m., and the program at 8 p.m. Tickets are $50 each for NPC members and $60 each for guests.
