The D.C. Intellectual Property Forum will debut October 30, 2019 at the NPC. The Forum will discuss latest patent data and trends in AI and EDGE computing, featuring a discussion on Veterans in Small Business as well as Panel Discussion on Blockchain, Cryptocurrency as it relates to Intellectual Property.

12:45 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. Topic: What Veterans Mean to Our Economy: Helping Our Warriors Unleash Their Businesses Valuation Leveraging IP; Fireside Chat w/ John Berry, CEO of Berry Law Firm.

1:30 p.m. – 2:15 p.m. Legislating IP: Insights on current legislation and its impact on small business owners includes a round table of policy influencers

2:15 p.m. – 2:45 p.m. Forecasting The Future: Insights on Edge Computing, AI, and Blockchain technology that will shape society.

The forum is spearheaded by patent attorney and globally-regarded IP authority JiNan Glasgow George, a former USPTO patent examiner and engineer who co-developed the Magic Number Patent Forecast software —a comprehensive intelligence tool leveraging machine learning to uncover silent trends sweeping the business landscape, revealing who is filing patents, when and in what sectors. The event is designed to help corporations, entrepreneurs, inventors, investors, law makers, and other IP stakeholders learn little known insights, save time and investment by untangling the myriad of data necessary to identify and capitalize on intellectual property trends.
