The Wire newsletter keeps our members informed about everything happening around the Club — and it wouldn’t be possible without the dedicated volunteers who write, edit, and photograph its stories each week.
If you have been credited as an editor, writer, or photographer for The Wire, join us on March 3 for Community Night for Wire Contributors and enjoy 25% off all items on the Bar Snack Menu from 6:00–8:30 p.m.
Reliable Source staff will seat you with your fellow contributors.
Community Nights at the Reliable Source – What are these?
Community Nights are a new series designed to bring National Press Club members together around shared professional roles, responsibilities, and day-to-day challenges. These gatherings offer a relaxed, informal way to meet peers who understand your work, expand your network, and strengthen your connection to the Club community.
These evenings are intentionally unstructured. There is no formal program or moderated discussion — conversations are peer-driven and evolve naturally. If you enjoy helping guide or spark conversation, you’re welcome to jump in, but there is no expectation to do so.
There’s no set start time or agenda. Drop in anytime between 6:00 and 8:30 p.m., stay as long as you’d like, and enjoy a drink, a snack, and conversation with fellow members.
Think of it as a touchpoint — a chance to build meaningful professional relationships. Come for the snacks, stay for the conversations.
