If you’re a National Press Club member committed to protecting and strengthening a free press, join us for Community Night for Press Freedom on April 29.

Enjoy 25% off all items on the Bar Snack Menu from 6:00–8:30 p.m. in the Reliable Source.

Our staff will seat you with fellow members who share your passion for open information, journalistic independence, and the essential role of a free press in democracy.

Come learn about the Club's current press freedom initiatives, build connections, and unwind with people who care as deeply as you do about press freedom.

During this Community Night for supporters of press freedom, an NPCJI staff member will share updates and volunteer opportunities at the start before the group moves to open conversation.

Think of it as a touchpoint — a chance to become an ambassador for the Club's vital press freedom work and to build meaningful professional relationships. Come for the snacks, stay for the conversations.

Community Nights at the Reliable Source – What are these?

Community Nights are a new series designed to bring National Press Club members together around shared professional roles, responsibilities, and day-to-day challenges. These gatherings offer a relaxed, informal way to meet peers who understand your work, expand your network, and strengthen your connection to the Club community.

Drop in anytime between 6:00 and 8:30 p.m., stay as long as you’d like, and enjoy a drink, a snack, and conversation with fellow members.
