Calling all authors! If you are a National Press Club member and a published author, join us for Community Night for Authors.

Enjoy 25% off all items on the Bar Snack Menu from 6:00–8:30 p.m. in the Reliable Source and connect with fellow writers who understand the triumphs and challenges of the publishing world.

Reliable Source staff will seat you with your fellow authors so you can share experiences, swap advice, and build connections within the Club’s writing community.

Community Nights at the Reliable Source – What are these?

Community Nights are a new series designed to bring National Press Club members together around shared professional roles, responsibilities, and day-to-day challenges. These gatherings offer a relaxed, informal way to meet peers who understand your work, expand your network, and strengthen your connection to the Club community.

These evenings are intentionally unstructured. There is no formal program or moderated discussion — conversations are peer-driven and evolve naturally. If you enjoy helping guide or spark conversation, you’re welcome to jump in, but there is no expectation to do so.

There’s no set start time or agenda. Drop in anytime between 6:00 and 8:30 p.m., stay as long as you’d like, and enjoy a drink, a snack, and conversation with fellow members.

Think of it as a touchpoint — a chance to build meaningful professional relationships. Come for the snacks, stay for the conversations.
