International businessman Omar Ayesh will officially launch the Global Justice Foundation (GJF) at the National Press Club on May 16th featuring former U.S. Solicitor General, Appeals Court Judge and Special Prosecutor Kenneth W. Starr. The Global Justice Foundation is a non-profit whose mission is focused on raising standards of business ethics around the world, particularly in regions where senior managers and government officials in positions of power and influence undermine the fair market through corruption, falsification, racketeering and fraud.

The launch event will begin with a panel discussion with legal scholars and journalists on the issues facing business leaders around the world when trying to seek justice against fault practices and white-collar fraud in certain countries, showcasing the largest case of real estate fraud in the history of the Middle East and the path to justice for its victims.. A luncheon will follow with keynote speaker Kenneth Starr and the announcement of the GJF Board of Directors.

GJF will support the efforts of governments and companies with compliance measures designed to eradicate corrupt and white-collar fraud conducts that can undermine justice, the rights of individuals and groups as well as a nation’s overall socioeconomic development. Through grants, it will support academic research to expose international financial fraud cases, encourage discussion with policy makers on corruption in these cases.

“As a businessman, I know first-hand the unethical practices by certain foreign countries. I am fortunate to have a great team to help me, there are many others who need the
help but do not have the means for long legal battles. This is why we have established The Global Justice Foundation to help others who are in a similar situation,” says Omar Ayesh, Founder of The Global Justice Foundation.

The official launch of The Global Justice Foundation will reveal a case study that the foundation has undertaken research into corruption and white-collar crimes perpetrated over a decade in the Middle East, including documentary evidence of blackmail, bribery, forgery, fraud, misappropriation of assets valued in the billions, threats to court-appointed experts, and attempts to illegitimately influence the judiciary.
The case involves decision-makers who exercised an utter disregard for corporate compliance and commercial law. The evidence implicates a Big 4 accounting firm’s London operations, the world’s largest Islamic banks’ chairman, a state-owned bank, a former Citibank executive, a Columbia Law School alumnus, a financial auditor, a subject-matter expert appointed by the courts, and most prominently a Minister in Saudi MBS’s cabinet.

The Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors, Former Democratic Congressman Jim Moran, Former Federal Prosecutor Sidney Powell, Former Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele, Lab MD President and CEO Michael Daugherty, and Nobles Investments’ President and Chairman Omar Ayesh. Mrs. Powell serves as Chairman.

The Global Justice Foundation (GJF) is a non-partisan, not-for-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of integrity, transparency and ethical commercial practices around the world. For more information, please visit www.gj.foundation
