Election Day Results

Chairman Nicholson and Chairman Grossman commented on the 1998 midterm elections. Chairman Grossman said that Democrats had been successful nationwide because of their grassroots organization, voter turnout, and the power of their message. Chairman Nicholson said that Republicans had not lost the election, rather they stood to gain because they had taken several Governor's seats and retained a majority in the House and Senate. After their remarks they answered questions submitted from the audience.
