Senator Daschle talked about various legislative issues passed in the Senate since Senator Jeffords changed his party affiliation to Independent and began caucusing with the Democratic Party. Among the issues he addressed were campaign finance reform, election reform, agriculture, the economy, and national security. Following his remarks he answered questions from the audience.
