College Drinking

President Spanier talked about the problems of binge drinking on college campuses. He stressed that more students today are engaging in dangerous binge drinking which causes health and academic problems. He listed several alternative activities besides drinking now available on many campuses. He also focused on the increasing number of students on campuses and the challenge of educating them for a high technology society. After his prepared remarks he answered questions from the audience.
