Mr. Hague discussed the future of the conservative parties in the United Kingdom and the U.S.. He focused on the rise of importance in the social values agenda among the citizens of both countries, and how the Conservative Party needs to address the issues of crime, child care, the elderly, and a declining work ethic. He reflected on how he was developing conservative ideas and rebuilding the conservative party from a local base leading to a conservative party revival in the U.K..
