America's Promise Report to the Nation 1999

General Powell talked about the efforts his organization, America's Promise, had undertaken to improve the lives of America's youth, including mentoring programs, school programs, and other positive activities. After his remarks he answered questions from the audience, including one question on military actions in Yugoslavia. In his answer he was critical of President Clinton's policy of using air power alone to achieve NATO objectives.
