Sue Dorfman is a photojournalist who has traveled more than 45,000 miles visiting polling sites and watching activities that promote voting. In this edition of Update-1, she talks with Broadcast Podcast member Debra Silimeo about how attending a "Don't Vote" rally in South Africa convinced her of the importance of people exercising their right to vote. She discusses driving to more than two dozen states to document the 2020 presidential election, saying "What could possibly happen in a normal election cycle?" Her takeaway from that unusual election is that democracy works.
